What is a 3D fabric? Our 3D Mesh and 3D Jersey are 3D fabrics – also known as spacer fabrics. This means that they consist of three layers – an inner layer, a middle layer and an outer layer. Instead of padding, the middle layer consists of a fine, single-fiber thread that makes the layer airy so that the fabric “breathes”. The 3D fabrics we use to make our baby carriers provide stability while also ensuring good airflow and heat- and moisture-wicking properties.
